MPL Cookbook Club: Cooking Resources

online Cookbook Club hub of the Milton Public Library

Welcome

Welcome to the Milton Public Library's Cookbook Club. The Milton Public Library's Cookbook Club is a group of adults who enjoy cooking and sharing food together.

Information about Cookbook Club and resources are on this page ("Cooking Resources"). You can see the recipes we are sharing on the "Recipes" tabs, and the "News" tab is where we will post updated information for the community. You can add your email address on the News page to receive updates.

This group is run by Sara Truog, Assistant Director of the MPL, and Connie Spiros, local chef and officer of the Friends of the Milton Public Library. With questions, please email struog@milton.ocln.org.

Happy cooking!

How to get library e-Resources

How It Works

  • Each club meeting will feature a selected cookbook, and members will prepare a tasty treat from the book to bring to the Library and share.
  • Please register through the library events calendar. Only registered cooks will be able to attend.
  • Borrow a copy of the book from the library and choose a dish. Books are available at the Circulation Desk one month ahead. (If you borrow a cookbook but won't be able to attend the meeting, please return the cookbook so someone else can check it out. Thank you!)
  • Once you've chosen your recipe, contact Sara by email (struog@ocln.org) or phone (617-898-4951) to let her know what recipe you’ll be trying so we don't have a lot of duplication in the dishes we'll sample on meeting night!
