The group deemed this book:

  • Highly caloric. Lots of heavy cream, cheese, and salted butter here.
  • Lots of convenience foods that today's cooks don't always gravitate towards (ie. crescent roll dough, cream of mushroom soup, Velveeta).
  • Not our favorite, although there were a few highlights.
